Brian Morse is an Editor, Digital Artist and Producer. In 1998, he started his journey into film and visual effects as a PA on the short indie film "Labido Nostalgic". Working on many local independent productions, he explored the roles of Director of Photography, Lighting, Editing and VFX.
He completed formal training in Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Shake in 2003, which helped increase his skills in both visual effects and editing.
After meeting with the team at Brickyard VFX in 2008, he was asked to join their new studio Brickyard Filmworks. He was introduced to Syntheyes, Boujou and Nuke while working on the films “The Proposal” and “Surrogates”. He also helped with some of their commercial spots, which included clients like the NBA, Jeep, Subway and more.
Brian was asked to join Zero VFX at the conclusion of the films with Brickyard. While there he worked on several Hollywood features including “The Equalizer” and “American Hustle”. He learned PF Track and sharpened his skills in Syntheyes and Nuke.
After several years and over a dozen films and several commercials, he started freelancing. As a freelancer Brian started moving from Nuke into Fusion for compositing.
In 2014 he was approached by Lynda.com to do some courses, thanks to Joey Korenman founder of School of Motion. He created several courses for Lynda.com and LinkedIn Learning about the things he had learned in post production.
For the last several years he has worked with several companies local and abroad. Working on commercials for Hasbro, Subway, Liberty Mutual, Dunkin' Donuts, Volvo and many more. Offering 3D tracking, compositing and editing 3 independent feature films.
In 2018 Brian decided to turn his music promotion company, Prophetless Productions, into an LLC. Prophetless sums up how he thinks the art of visual media should be, without a leader, paving the way for new creative concepts not just following the trends. Prophetless is a small media company dedicated to the visual arts. Using his experience from the last 20+ years to help clients learn and create their own digital art.
